Q1: Why do you enhance your pork with added moisture?

A1: Our pork producers are creating such a lean product that we have enhanced our pork with a solution to give it added moisture and flavor.  Consumers also have a tendency to overcook pork, this ensures our product to be moist and juicy, even under the pooorest cooking conditions.

Q2: What makes pork so much leaner now then it was years ago?

A2: Pork producers have produced leaner pork through years of perfecting feed management techniques and genetics.

Q4: How much meat do you consider a serving?

A4: It is usually safe to count 3-4 oz. of cooked meat as a serving.  This is the size of an average hamburger.

Q5: How long do I cook a pork loin?

A5: Uncovered at 350 degrees F. you will cook a loin approximately 20 minutes per pound.  It will vary whether being cooked in an oven or grilling.  It is safest to cook to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.  When cooking larger cuts of pork, cook to an internal temperature of l55 degrees F. Remove from the oven or grill, cover with foil, and wait 10 minutes before slicing.  This will allow your roast to continue cooking and to retain its’ juices.
