Agribusiness Financial Accountant

Reicks View Farms, a local family-oriented, progressive swine production system is seeking an experienced Agribusiness Financial Accountant to join our team.

As the Agribusiness Financial Accountant, you would be working with a team that is responsible for the organizations’ financial operations.  This individual will provide strategic financial input to senior management and lead tax, borrowing and legal strategies. 

This position offers an advancement path leading to a Director of Finance role.

Operations Accountant

Reicks View Farms, a local family-oriented, progressive swine production system is seeking a motivated individual to be an Operations Accountant.

As an Operations Accountant, you would be a financial specialist who is responsible for cost analysis, financial planning, and budgeting duties for the organization’s finances.

As a member of our team, your responsibilities could include:

-Perform day-to-day management of financial accounts.
-Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information.
-Ensure financial transactions are performed in compliance with company policies with the primary focus being on inventory.
-Ensure accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
-Perform reconciliation for various company accounts.
-Analyze financial information to prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.
-Address and resolve management queries in a timely and accurate manner.
-Coordinate monthly and annual review process with auditors.
-Perform accounting functions such as revenue and asset accounting, payroll and cost analysis.
-Manage book-keeping and financial systems
-Update accounting systems in line with the latest computer technology
-Provide advice on revenue and expenditure trends and financial commitments.
-Develop solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies and other financial problems/issues.
-Provide continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Reicks View Farms is seeking Equipment Operators to join our crops department.

As a member of our team, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Operate farm equipment during planting and harvest seasons
  • Perform tillage tasks in the spring and fall
  • Assist with preparing construction sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and heavy machinery
  • Plow snow from driveways and parking lots

The ideal person has extensive knowledge of heavy machinery and is dependable with a strong work ethic.

Areas of operation including but not limited to: Sow Units, Nursery Barns, Finishing Barns, Feed Mill, General Farm Maintenance

Tasks may include: Installation/wiring of motors, controllers, fans, alarm systems, generator upkeep, troubleshooting and maintenance on existing equipment.

Hog Driver

Reicks View Farms is seeking Market Hog Drivers to join our transportation team.

As a Market Hog Driver, you’ll assist in our mission of “Families Feeding Families” by providing safe, high-quality pork to consumers around the world.  Everyday you’ll play a vital role by safely delivering pigs to our processing partners.

As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for operating a semi-truck and trailer to transport market hogs (280 lbs.) from our finishing barns to our processing partners. You’ll also be responsible for making sure there is adequate bedding in the trailer to keep our pigs safe.  During your first 60 days you’ll be trained on our biosecurity protocols and how to safely load, unload and transport livestock in all conditions.

The ideal person is a dependable and conscientious driver with a Class A CDL and clean driving record.

This position is ideal if you want the ability to be home each day, are energetic, and enjoy variety, movement, and interacting animals.  We have day and night shifts available.
